Coronavirus outbreak: Saudi Arabia suspends entry for pilgrims

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended entry to the kingdom for Umrah pilgrimage and those visiting the Prophet’s Mosque in response to the global coronavirus outbreak.

In a statement issued by the Saudi Press Agency also said that the entry for those tourists coming from countries where coronavirus have been reported are also suspended.

Saudi nationals and GCC citizens are also temporarily suspended from using national identity cards to travel to and from the kingdom.
