Royal Opera House cancels Chinese show owing to coronavirus concerns

Muscat: The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) has decided to cancel its showing of The Nutcracker, which featured a performance from the National Ballet of China, from 9 to 11 April, 2020, owing to concerns over the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Those who have booked their tickets for this show are entitled to a full refund.

A statement from ROH Muscat said: “Due to the ongoing health and travel concerns surrounding the coronavirus we regret to inform you of the cancellation of the following event: The Nutcracker Performed by the National Ballet of China, April 9,10 &11. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

“We are issuing full refunds on tickets. It will then take 5-14 working days for your funds to be available for use,” added ROHM. “Only primary ticket purchasers will receive a refund. For questions please contact us at [email protected].”
