​Coronavirus: Flights to and from Iran suspended

Muscat: Oman Air and Salam Air announced suspension of flights due to new cases of Coronavirus in Oman.

According to Oman Air, “Following the directives of Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA), Oman Air will suspend all flights to and from Tehran, capital city if Iran, with immediate effect, 24 February 2020.”

“Acceptance of bookings to and from Tehran has been immediately suspended. The health and well-being of our guests and employees remain our highest priority. All guests are advised to monitor our website and social media channels further updates.”

Moreover, according to Salam Air, “Based on the decision of the Oman Civil Aviation Authority all flights between Iran and Oman have been suspended from Monday 24th February 2020 till further notice.”
