Muscat: Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Industries and Production, is currently in Oman on a three-day visit, with the intention of boosting his country’s manufacturing profile.
During his time in Oman, Jatoi will lead Pakistan’s delegation to a Small and Medium Enterprise development seminar, in addition to meeting with Oman’s Minister for Commerce and Industry, Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy.
He is also expected to meet with leading Pakistani businessmen and prominent members of the Pakistani community in Oman, at a dinner reception being hosted by the Ambassador of Pakistan, His Excellency Ali Javed, to honour the minister.
The visit will see many meetings taking place with high-ranking political and business leaders in the Sultanate of Oman, and is aimed towards strengthening the bonds of friendship and mutual cooperation between the two nations, said a spokesman for the Pakistani Embassy in Oman.
