Muscat: The Public authority of Civil Aviation (PACA ) have issued a circular to all airlines operating in the country to cooperate with travellers who express their unwillingness to travel to countries where coronavirus have been reported.
In a statement issued by PACA said: “ In accordance with statement No. 6 issued by the Ministry of Health on February 2, 2020, regarding the epidemiological situation of Corona virus, the Public Authority of Civil Aviation wishes to inform all airlines operating in the Sultanate the need to adhere to the following instructions. They should extend full cooperation to travellers who appear unwilling to travel to countries that recorded cases of infection with Coronavirus.”
“If they tickets are non-refundable, airlines must provide the travellers the choice of changing the ticket to a new date with one year validity without any fee deduction,” PACA added.
