Oman Cricket: Bengal Tigers defeat Karachi’s ICA team

Muscat: Bengal Tigers recorded a three-wicket victory over visiting Iftakhar Cricket Academy (ICA) team from Pakistan at Al Hail Cricket Ground in Mabellah on Sunday.
In the 30-overs-a-side match, the ICA team batted first scored 178 runs for the loss of five wickets. In reply, Bengal Tigers achieved their target with three wickets and three balls to spare.
The ICA team, who arrived from Karachi on Saturday, will play a series of matches against the local teams during their stay in Oman.
The visitors are also scheduled to play a match against Oman Cricket’s National Youth Development Team (NYDT) on Tuesday.
According to Al Hail School of Cricket official Moula Bakhsh Al Balushi, the match will be played at Al Amerat Ground with Oman Cricket chief Kanak Khimji presiding over as the chief guest.
Al Hail Cricket Team, meanwhile, thanked Kanak Khimji for his support and accepting the invitation to attend the match.
