Oman to witness clear skies

Muscat: Most parts of the Sultanate will have clear skies on Sunday while low clouds and fog could spread over parts of the deserts of Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah governorates as well as the Al Wusta coast, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) said.

In its weather forecast, PACA said: “Mainly clear skies over the Sultanate with chance of clouds or fog patches during late night to early morning over Dhofar, Al Wusta, Al Dakhliyah and South Al Sharqiyah governorates.”

"The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 25 degrees Celsius and 16 degrees in Muscat, 26 degrees and 20 degrees in Salalah, 26 degrees and 15 degrees in Khasab, 24 degrees and 14 degrees in Sohar, 27 degrees and 17 degrees in Sur, 29 degrees and 16 degrees in Nizwa and Ibri and 29 degrees and 15 degrees in Buraimi.”

The Oman News Agency (ONA), said: “The highest temperature expected on Sunday is 30 degrees in Adam, Al Dakhliyah governorate and the lowest is 7 degrees in Jabal Shams.”
