Oman Cricket: MCCC to host Bank Muscat cricket tourney

Muscat: Muscat Cricket Coaching Centre (MCCC) will organise the Bank Muscat Cricket Tournament for under-11 boys from February 11 to 25.
A total of 12 teams will be taking part in the tournament, in which the matches will be officiated by Oman Cricket’s qualified umpires.
The matches will be of 15-overs-a-side while the final will be a 20-overs-a-side affair.
The tournament will be inaugurated by Bank Muscat official G.V. Ramakrishna at Municipality Ground in Al Amerat at 8.30 a.m. on February 11.
Moula Baksh Al Balushi of Al Hail School of cricket will grace the occasion. The tournament will conclude with a grand prize distribution ceremony at 11.00 a.m. on February 25 when eminent cricket personalities will be felicitated.
Moula Baksh will also be felicitated for his immense contribution to the development of the budding cricketers at Al Hail School of Cricket.
Besides the winners and runners-up prizes, the organisers have also decided to award special prizes to 15 promising cricketers.
The organisers are also looking into the possibility of forming a team with the 15 promising players and providing them with match practice.
Each participant will also get a participation certificate.
The organisers have thanked Bank Muscat for sponsoring the tournament.
