Z-Corp’s Taskforce Team hosts teamwork initiative

Muscat: To foster and elevate people teamwork, The Zubair Corporation’s (Z-Corp)’s Corporate HR hosted a unique initiative “March Event” recently.

Organised by the company’s Taskforce Team, the event witnessed the participation of employees representing different companies of the Z-Corp group.

A senior official of Z-Corp’s Corporate HR said, “We organised this event as part of the ongoing people initiatives aimed at inspiring teamwork among employees, elevating productivity so also employee’s loyalty. Following the success of the progress of ‘people initiatives’ embarked across the group of companies and building on the recent triumphs, the event aimed at nurturing oneness amongst our employees. Most importantly, it also sought to elevate people engagement curve, enhance the joy index, foster a productive culture of performance, and hence foster people’s loyalties.”

The daylong event commenced at Muscat and included a tour to Wakan village near Wadi Mistal, followed by a stopover at Al Subaikha village. The event which concluded by twilight created an environment of bonding amongst participants, who had a wonderful time unwinding away from their busy schedule. After networking and bonding the participants went back refreshed and energised, thus uplifting the satisfaction curve.

It may be recalled that to secure high employee engagement and elevate operational excellence for the future, The Zubair Corporation’s (Z-Corp)’s Corporate HR recently organised the fourth session of ‘people engagement’ branded Towards Excellence.

The session was organised as part of the ongoing initiatives, aimed at inspiring Z-Corp employees achieve excellence at work. Themed around its corporate culture statement the objective of sessions were to foster and support business operations effectively. This was the last session of Towards Excellence programme for the year 2019 delivered to participants representing the group of companies. The session was presented in collaboration with the Critical Team Performance (UK).
