Oman to take part in GCC taekwondo championship

Muscat: Oman Taekwondo Committee took two key decision during their first meeting of the year under the chairmanship of Brigadier Abdulmalik bin Ghassan Al Mazrooi.
The most important decision taken during the meeting was to host the Oman Open Taekwondo Championship.
The committee will finalise the date and venue of the championship in the near future.
Meanwhile, the committee members paid a visit to Al Amal Club to watch the Oman national taekwondo squad training sessions.
The Sultanate’s squad is currently preparing to take part in the forthcoming GCC Taekwondo Championships.
The sixth edition of the GCC championship will take place in Kuwait from February 8 to 12.
