Mussanah: The joint naval drill ‘Sharp Dagger’ carried out by the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) kicked off yesterday in Al Batinah coastal area.

A number of vessels of the naval forces of friendly countries participated with support aircraft of the Royal Air Force of Oman. The exercise comes within the annual training plans and policies of the Royal Navy of Oman. The vessels participating in the exercise sailed from Said bin Sultan Naval Base towards the marine operations site set for the drill, where a number of naval activities for the participating vessels and crews took place, according to the plan set for the exercise.
