Locust swarm brought under control in some parts of Oman

The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries controlled locusts swarm in some parts of Muscat Governorate.

“The ministry, in cooperation with Muscat Municipality, followed the locust swarm in transit yesterday evening, in some areas of Muscat (Bawshar, Al Khuwair, and Qurum) which is usually accompanied by laying eggs because they are of a mature age.” - Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries

The Ministry provided chemical pesticides to control these locusts in transit.
