Oman, Russia review bilateral relations

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers received Mikhail Bogdanov, Special Envoy of the Russian President to the Middle East and Deputy Foreign Minister, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the Russian leader conveyed greetings and best wishes of President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
The meeting reviewed the existing relations between the two countries and means of supporting cooperation between them in various spheres, in addition to activating the joint agreements between the two sides. The meeting also reviewed all current issues to support the security and stability in the regional and international arenas.
On his turn, the Russian guest stressed the importance of this visit to exchange visions and consultations to cement cooperation between the two countries. He also stressed his country's appreciation over the balanced policy pursued by the Sultanate in its relations with world countries.
Sayyid Fahd asked the Russian envoy to convey greetings and best wishes of His Majesty the Sultan to President Putin.
The meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry and Envarbik Fazelianov, Russian ambassador to the Sultanate.
