Muscat: Strong winds have forced airlines in Oman to cancel and delay domestic flights.
"Domestic flights are affected by strong winds with several being delayed or cancelled. Operations will resume subject to weather conditions," Oman Air tweeted on its official twitter handle.
Meanwhile, SalamAir tweeted that it has also cancelled flights.
"Due to deteriorating weather conditions in Salalah, SalamAir regrets to inform you on the cancellation of today’s flights OV001 & OV002," SalamAir tweeted.
Oman has been battered by unstable weather conditions since Friday.
Mussandam and Khasab were hit by snowfall, and heavy wind has caused damage across different parts of Oman.
