Muscat: One of Muscat’s most iconic hotels, the Al Bustan Palace operated by the five-star Ritz-Carlton brand, is to undergo a series of enhancements this summer.
According to Ritz-Carlton’s website yesterday there were no rooms available to book from May 1 to the end of September, though a spokesperson for the hotel said it was ‘not closing’.
A statement on the reservations page on Ritz-Carlton’s website said, ‘The hotel will be enhancing the guest experience in all of the rooms March 1 to November 30 2017. Guests and visitors can enjoy the pool, garden, beach facilities and restaurants.’
The property, one of a select number of five-star luxury properties in the capital, currently features 198 guest rooms and 52 suites and a 38-metre-high domed atrium lobby.
