Oman International Rally kicks off today

The Oman International Rally kicks off today, at the Oman Automobile Association.

This is the first round of the 2020 FIA Middle East Rally Championship (MERC).

There are 13 stages across three days in the Al Hajar mountains, with a total distance of 532 km.

This marks Oman's return to the international rallying arena for the first time since 2015.
