Agreement on Shuaa Project signed

Muscat: The Ministry of Civil Service has signed a memorandum of cooperation with The Research Council to complete and develop Shuaa Project.

The memorandum was signed by the Ministry of Civil Service His Excellency Mr Salim bin Muslim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary for Administrative Development Affairs and by The Research Council Dr Nabhan bin Harith Al Harrasi, Chairman of the Omani Digital Research Repository Project Committee to complete and develop the Omani digital research warehouse project (Shuaa).

A joint committee has been formed between The Research Council and Sultan Qaboos University to create and manage the Omani digital research warehouse project (Shuaa).

“The two parties agreed that the Ministry of Civil Service shall provide The Research Council with the scientific and intellectual production of the ministry such as research and scientific studies, books, reports, letters, articles, etc. for permanent and non-exclusive availability through the Omani research repository on a regular and continuous basis.” the ministry said in a statement.
