Muscat: Oman Air on Friday said it is in constant touch with airline regulator Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) and is also closely monitoring the latest developments of coronavirus.
Oman Air’s statement comes after the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the virus as a global health emergency on Thursday.
In a statement issued by the airline said: “Oman Air is closely monitoring the situation on the novel coronavirus outbreak. We are liaising with PACA our airline regulator, and with health organisations. We are following their advice and directives.”

According to reports, so far 213 people have died and almost 10,000 cases have been confirmed worldwide, as many airlines halted flights to the country and governments around the world are working to repatriate their citizens from China.
