Earthquake: Oman Embassy in Turkey calls citizens to take caution

Muscat: Amid reports of a possible earthquake in Turkey, the Istanbul Municipality is preparing temporary shelters for people to stay.

A statement issued by Oman Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, said: “ Istanbul Municipality announces temporary shelters for fear of a possible major earthquake with magnitude of 7.5 ml.”

The embassy called on the Omani citizens in Turkey to take caution and follow the instructions that Turkish authorities instruct them.
