Oman Cricket: Times of Oman, Unique Elegant register victories

Muscat: Times of Oman recorded a 25-run victory over Hussain Fadhil & Partners (HFP) in an I Division match of the Oman Cricket League.
Opting to bat first, Times of Oman scored 184 runs in 20 overs. Despite an all-round performance by Mohammed Azeem, who scored 61 from 36 balls and took three wickets for 38, Mujtaba Ahmed’s 54 and Imran Ali’s 35, the team failed to secure bonus point which would have helped Times of Oman clinch the title. For HFP, Manoj took two wickets.
In reply, Hussain Fadhil were bowled out for 159 runs. Sreeraj top scored 31 and Stalin Johnson 29. Mohammed Azeem took three for 38 and Ovais Karim two for 18.
Meanwhile, another I Division match between Manis Azad and Mecamec Royals was abandoned due to bad weather. Both teams were awarded a point each.

Unique Elegant win
In a J Division match, Unique Elegant defeated Euro Poles. Batting first, Euro Poles scored 128 for seven in 20 overs. Manukumar top scored with an unbeaten 39 while Shelbbyn and Anniesh Devakumar
contributed 31 and 26 not out respectively.
For Unique Elegant, Pavan Kumar and Vicky took two wickets each.
Unique Elegant achieved their target in just 14.5 overs thanks to a 76-run opening partnership between Gaurav Sangi (60) and Rafeeq Siyad (29). Suketu Limbani scored a brisk 29 off 16 balls.

Easy for Design Group
In another J Division match, which was reduced to 18-overs a side, Design Group defeated Aster Hospital. Batting first, Design Group scored 185 runs for seven in 18 overs. Shabbir Ahmed smashed an unbeaten 65 off 49 balls while Susheel Krishnan scored 24. For Aster Hospital, Mehadi took two wickets.
Aster Hospital scored 130 runs in their alloted 18 overs losing seven wickets. Ajimsha and Mehadi remained not out 28 and 26 respectively.

PSM trounce ISAS
In an Under-19 Junior Division match, Pakistan School Muscat (PSM) defeated Indian School Al Seeb (ISAS). Batting first, ISAS were all out for 103 in 23.4 overs. Mohammed Feshal scored 26 runs.
For PSM, Abdul Rehman took six wickets for 35 runs.
In reply, Pakistan achieved their target in 15 overs losing just two wickets in the process. Nisar Tajamal top scored with 34 runs while Ehsan Ullah made an unbeaten 31.
