Rain falls in many parts of Oman

Muscat: The flow of clouds over Muscat and most other governorates of the Sultanate is expected to continue and rainfall has been forecast for some Wilayats according to the Oman Meteorology department. Temperatures will vary between 2 Degrees Celsius in Saiq, to 28 Degrees in Salalah.

The temperature on Sunday will be 18 Degrees in Khasab, 19 Degrees in Buraimi, 21 Degrees in Ibri, 22 Degrees in Rustaq, 23 Degrees in Ibra, 24 Degrees in Muscat, Sur, Masira and Haima and 25 Degrees in Nizwa and Suhar.

“Clear to partly cloudy skies over most of the Sultanate with chances of isolated rain over Musandam and South Al Sharqiyah governorates and along parts of the coastal areas of Oman Sea and Al Hajar mountains and adjoining areas. Chances of dust rising and wind over deserts and open areas and chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches over Al Buraimi and Al Dhahirah governorates,” Oman Meteorology said in a statement.

“Over most of the Sultanate, winds will be northwesterly light to moderate and fresh over Musandam and along the coastal areas of Oman Sea and over deserts and open areas,” they added.
