Oman’s Minister for Endowment and Religious Affairs visits Pakistan

Muscat: HE Abdullah bin Mohamad bin Abdullah Al Salmi, Minister for Endowments and Religious Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman paid a two-day official visit to Pakistan.

Al Salmi was in Pakistan during January 7-8, 2020. Upon his arrival, he was received by HE Peer Dr Noor ul Haq Qadri, Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony of Pakistan.

During the visit, Al Salmi called on HE Dr Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan, HE Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Pakistan and HE Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, Chairman Senate of Pakistan. He also met prominent Pakistani dignitaries, academia and senior government officials during the two-day official visit.

Al Salmi visited Pakistan at the invitation of Qadri, Pakistan's Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony. The visit provided extremely useful opportunities to discuss various areas of bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

It was also agreed that the exchange of bilateral visits will continue to further enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields.
