Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has informed that a low-pressure trough is likely to affect weather over the Sultanate on Tuesday.

Speaking to Times of Oman, an official from PACA said: “In the coming days, weather in the Sultanate will be stable and chances of rain is likely by end of next week.”
“On Tuesday, January 21, a low pressure trough will impact on most parts of the Sultanate including governorates of Musandam, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Muscat, South Al Sharqiyah and the coasts of Oman Sea.”
“The low pressure will start on Tuesday with heavy to moderate rains, hails, strong wind and hight sea waves,” he added.
