Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Mosque arrives in Oman

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, received the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Mosque, according to the Oman News Agency (ONA)

ONA said in a statement: "His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, received at Al Alam Palace, the Grand Imam Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh Al-Azhar Mosque in Egypt, to offer condolences on the death of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.”

“Ahmed Al-Tayeb, expressed his sincere condolences to the deceased and His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere thanks to him and the accompanying delegation," ONA added.
