South Korean President sends condolence message

Muscat: The President of South Korea has sent a message offering his condolences over the demise of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, according to the Oman News Agency (ONA).

On Tuesday, the Korean Minister for National Defence, Jeong Kyeong-doo, arrived in Oman as an envoy of the President and was recieved by His Majesty, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.

ONA said in a statement: "His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, received a condolence message from His Excellency President Moon Jae-in, the President of the Republic of Korea for the death of His Majesty the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said.”
