The Public Authority for Civil Aviation has announced that there are chances of rain across the Sultanate starting from today.

According to the officials at PACA, there is an indication of trough of low pressure starting today and ending on Wednesday, January 15.

“The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of rain over governorates of Musandam, Al Buraimi, North Al Batinah, South Al



Batinah, Muscat, Al Dakhliya, and South Al Sharqiya. The weather event is associated with fresh northerly wind causing dust raising and hazy condition over deserts and open areas.” – Public Authority for Civil Aviation

They added that there will be moderate to rough sea conditions along most of the Sultanate coasts with wave height ranging between 2 and 3



meters.
