Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimour continued to receive leaders from the Gulf Cooperation Council, dignitaries from other parts of world, and common people who arrived here at Al Alam Palace on Monday to offer condolences on the death of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimour received at Al Alam Palace yesterday the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and his accompanying delegation, who arrived here to offer condolences.

While meeting His Majesty the Sultan, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to rest the deceased’s soul in peace in paradise, and grant His Majesty, the Royal family and the Omani people patience.



He also prayed to Almighty Allah to grant His Majesty success to continue leading the march initiated by the late Sultan.

On his turn, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his accompanying delegation for their heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy, praying to Almighty Allah to protect him and the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia people against all harms.



It should be noted that the Custodian Two Holy Mosques King Salman paid a short visit to the Sultanate to offer condolences on the demise of the late His Majesty Sultan.

He was received and seen off by Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, Sayyid Badr bin Saud Al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs and Sayyid Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Sultanate’s Ambassador to the KSA.

Vice President and PM of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimour received Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, member of the UAE Supreme Council, Ruler of Ajman, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, member of the UAE Supreme Council, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, member of the UAE Supreme Council, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council and their accompanying delegation, who arrived here to offer condolences on the death of the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

While meeting with His Majesty the Sultan, members of the Emirati delegation expressed their sincere condolences and deep sympathy, praying to the Almighty Allah to rest the deceased’s soul in peace in paradise, and grant His Majesty, the Royal family and the Omani people patience.

On his turn, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to them for their heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy, praying to the Almighty Allah to protect them and the brotherly people of United Arab Emirates against all harms.

Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimour received Marzouq Al Ghanim, Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly and some members of the Assembly who arrived here to offer condolences on the death of the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

During his meeting with His Majesty the Sultan, Al Ghanim expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy. He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the soul of the late Sultan in peace in paradise, and grant His Majesty Sultan Haitham, the Royal family and the Omani people patience.

On his turn, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, members of the Assembly and their accompanying delegation for their heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathies. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to protect them against all harms.

Crown Prince of Bahrain

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimour received at Al Alam Palace Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain and his accompanying delegation who arrived here to offer condolences on the demise of late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

During his meeting with His Majesty the Sultan, Prince Salman expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy. He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the soul of the late Sultan in peace in paradise, and grant His Majesty, the Royal family and the Omani people patience.

Former GCC Secretary General

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimour received Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Attiyah, former GCC Secretary General who arrived here to offer condolences on the death of the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.

During his meeting with His Majesty the Sultan, Al-Attiyah expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to rest the soul of the late Sultan in peace in paradise, and grant His Majesty, the Royal family and the Omani people patience.

Director General of the Research Center for Islamic History

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimour received at Al Alam Palace yesterday Dr. Khaled Aran, Director General of the Research Center for Islamic History, Arts and Culture of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), who arrived here today to offer condolences on the death of the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Bin Taimour.

While meeting with His Majesty the Sultan, the guest expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy, praying to the Almighty Allah to rest the deceased's soul in peace in paradise, and grant His Majesty, the Royal family and the Omani people patience.
