Grand Mufti of Zimbabwe offers condolences

Muscat: World renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh Ismail bin Musa Menk, the Grand Mufti of Zimbabwe, has sent his condolences to the people of Oman following His Majesty Sultan Qaboos' passing away.

The Islamic scholar took to his official Twitter handle to convey his condolences, and congratulating the new Sultan of the Sultanate.

"My heartfelt condolences to the people of Oman on the passing of their beloved Sultan Qaboos bin Said. May the Almighty grant him the highest Paradise.

"My congratulations and prayer also go out to the newly appointed Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. May Oman continue to prosper," Mufti Menk said.
