Muscat: Owing to potential flight disruptions over the Sultanate following the demise of Sultan Qaboos bin Said, passengers flying to and from Oman on GoAir do not need to pay any cancellation or rebooking charges, should their flights be cancelled or postponed.

A statement from GoAir said, “As the Sultanate of Oman mourns the unfortunate demise of its Honourable leader His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said, there might be some traffic disruptions for the next three days in Muscat.

“GoAir is offering full waiver on cancellation and rescheduling charges for flights to and from Oman,” added the airline’s media advisory department. “The provision will be available until January 14, 2020 for passengers who are flying to and from Oman.”
