Muscat: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in cooperation with Ministry of Commerce and Industry have asked commercial centers including supermarkets providing foodstuffs to open for citizens and residents and provide supplies for them during the mourning period.
In a statement issued on Sunday, OCCI urged shops to be opened to serve the needs of the people. Oman is observing a three-day mourning period following the passing of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
