British Embassy in Oman participates in Environment Day cleanup

Muscat: A team from the British Embassy in the Sultanate of Oman is conducting a clean-up campaign of beaches on the occasion of Environment Day.

A statement issued online by the British Embassy in Oman said: “To mark Oman Environment Day this week, some members of the British Embassy team did a beach clean-up.”

“A few bags of rubbish later, all left with determination to do more to reduce waste, conserve water and recycle, reuse,” the Embassy added.

The Sultanate celebrates Environment Day on January 8 every year to encourage paying attention to keeping the environment clean and preserving resources.
