Here’s what you need to know before buying any electronic devices in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has seized electrical devices that does not meet the specifications and standards in Sur, South Al Sharqiyah.

In an online statement issued by the Ministry of Commerce said: “The Ministry seized a number of products of electrical devices that do not meet the necessary specifications and standards in a number of centers and commercial stores in Sur.”

The Ministry has warned citizens and residents to buy genuine electronic appliances and toys with G-Mark and QR code only.
