Muscat: His Excellency Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible of Foreign Affairs (MoFa), received Martin Griffiths, the special envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen.
In a statement issued online, MoFA said: “During the meeting, they discussed the efforts of the United Nations and consultations it is carrying out between various parties to bring peace in Yemen.”
“The Minister also meet with His Excellency Dr. Abd al-Latif bin Rashid al-Zayani, who is currently visiting the Sultanate, on the occasion of the end of his duties as Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States,” the statement added.
