Fog alert issued in Oman, poor visibility expected

Muscat: Oman Meteorology has issued a fog alert as poor visibility has been forecast.

On Thursday morning, Saiq reported 6 degree Celsius while Salalah is expected to touch 28 degree Celsius.

Temperatures in Khasab, Buraimi, and Rustaq will be 23 degree Celsius. In Ibri, Nizwa, Muscat, Suhar, Sur, and Ibra it will be 25 degree Celsius while in Masira and Haima it is 26 Celsius.

“Clear to partly cloudy skies over northern governorates of Oman with chance of rain over Musandam and parts of north Al Batinah and Al Buraimi governorates. Mainly clear skies over rest of the Sultanate with chance of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches formation over south Al Sharqiya, Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates,” Oman Meteorology said in a statement.
