Royal Air Force of Oman conducts medical evacuation of Indian expat

Muscat: An Indian expat was airlifted in Musandam by the Royal Air Force of Oman on Tuesday after he suffered health problems, the Ministry of Defence told Times of Oman.

“The Indian patient was transferred from Dibba Hospital in Musandam governorate to Sohar Hospital in North Al Batinah governorate to receive the necessary treatment,” an official from the Defence Ministry said.

“This comes within the framework of the humanitarian services provided by the Sultan's armed forces and the departments of the Ministry of Defence to citizens and residents in the homeland along with other government institutions,” the official added.
