Muscat: Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bakri, Minister of Manpower has issued a ministerial decision on the recruitment of expatriate manpower for camel breeding.
The decision stipulates authorised recruitment of one camel breeder for each Omani who owns not less than 10 camels and not more than 25 camels. The decision allows recruitment of two camel breeders for each Omani who owns 26 or more camels subjected to the regulation of Oman Camel Racing Federation .
The application shall be submitted to the Ministry of Manpower along with all required documents such as the details of camels approved by Oman Camel Racing Federation, a copy of the participation card of Oman Camel Racing Federation and the original report on the number of camels owned by the applicant.
The decision also authorises one worker for each Omani who owns 10 camels allocated for breeding. The application shall be submitted to the Ministry of Manpower along with the form of details of camels approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, the details of the applicant and payment of the prescribed fee.
