Muscat: Next Thursday will be an official holiday for employees of the Royal Oman Police (ROP), on the occasion of Police Day, observed on 5 January.
A statement issued online by the ROP said: “The Royal Oman Police, Public Relations Department, announces to all citizens and residents that it was decided on the occasion of Police Day that Thursday, January 9, will be an official holiday for ROP staff who operate during the official working hours.”
“As for police stations which operate around the clock, they will carry out their regular work and provide all the services assigned to them," the ROP added.
