Royal Oman Police quashes murder rumours

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) on Monday dismissed rumours of a murder crime being circulated on social media.

In a statement, the ROP said, "It is not true what is being reported on social media about the occurrence of a murder crime in Al Masnaah, Al Batinah South Governorate.”

The statement further asked everyone to not share or believe false news and to verify sources besides following official channels for verified news.
