Muscat: Two stranded Omanis were airlifted by a Royal Oman Police helicopter on Saturday morning after they lost their way in Sifah mountains.
A reliable source at the ROP said that two nationals trekking in the mountains found themselves stranded.
Initially, the ROP had difficulty in locating the trekkers. Later, they were transported to the Amerat Police Station.
In another incident, a ROP helicopter airlifted a body from Wadi Mayh in Quriyat. The body was discovered by a national. Probe is on to ascertain the cause of death.
