Majlis Al Shura session to discuss data programme

Muscat: Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Nadabi, Secretary General of Majlis Al Shura said that Majlis Al Shura would begin the new year 2020 with convening the fourth regular session of the First Annual Convening (2019/2020) of the ninth term (2019-2023) on Tuesday January 7.
He said that the agenda of the session would include a number of items mainly endorsement of the plans of the permanent committees of Majlis Al Shura for the first annual convening of the ninth term.
The discussion of the plans of the permanent committees of Majlis Al Shura at the beginning of each annual convening was based on Article (71) of the regulations of Majlis Al Shura, he said.
He added that the fourth regular session would also discuss the ministerial data programme proposed to be submitted during the first annual convening of the ninth term pursuant to Article (153) of the Regulation of Majlis Al Shura and a discussion on the draft agreement on economic and technical cooperation between the Government of Oman and the Government of Hungary among other issues.
