More than 1,000 patients visit Atlas Hospital at the Ruwi and Ghubrah branches every day, which has some 100 beds.
“We have around 300 people on our payroll, including a large number of doctors and nurses,” an official of Atlas Hospital said.
Staff members and doctors working in the hospital are anticipating a smooth transition to the new owners.
“We expect that the handover will happen within the next two weeks,” a doctor said, adding that the hospitals will not be shut down during the transition and will continue to treat patients.
