What Is It?
The Full English Breakfast, at D’Arcy’s, includes baked beans, turkey bacon, sausages, and hash browns with choice of eggs, along with bread, fresh juice, and tea. The freshly toasted bread goes well with omelette with stuffing of one’s choice. You can choose from onion, mushrooms, and cheese. The sides of beans, toast, sausages are fresh and perfect for the mornings.

Another breakfast treat is the French toast. They are slices of bread dipped in a beaten egg and dairy mixture and then pan fried. It is served with maple syrup, freshly whipped cream and fruits of the season.
D’Arcy’s, Eggs Benedict is another good choice. It is home-made English muffins topped with smoked salmon, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce and served with hash browns, and grilled tomatoes. They also have good wraps, sandwiches, burgers, soups, and desserts.
If you are there for lunch try the grilled chicken platter. Called Grilled Chicken Alana it is flourcoated strips of chicken breast marinated with rosemary, Tabasco, oregano, and Parmesan cheese and grilled to perfection.
For a perfect dinner go for Braised Lamb Shank. It is tender lamb shank, slowly cooked in its own stock with a blend of rosemary, fresh herbs, onions, celery, carrots, and garlic and served on a mound of creamy mashed potatoes, with green peas, and baby carrots.
You can also try Halloumi Cheese and Bean Salad. They are golden, crispy halloumi, mixed with butter beans, red beans, black olives, mint leaves, and sliced red onions, and tomatoes tossed in balsamic, honey, and mustard dressing. For desserts try apple-berry crumble with vanilla ice cream. Also try Sticky Toffee Pudding, a modern British ‘classic’ sponge cake made with finely chopped dates and covered in toffee sauce.
