Muscat: Oman Aviation Group’s new ISO 9001:2015 certification from the International Organisation for Standardisation has put it in the top bracket of organisations in its sector. The certification – which is used to measure performance in companies – represents a globally valued measure for quality management, and only those bodies that meet the rigorous criteria set out by ISO are normally recognised.
Mustafa Al Hinai, CEO at Oman Aviation Group, said, “This is the gold standard of quality management. The fact that we have achieved it as an organisation not yet two years old proves that the Omani aviation sector is constantly striving for excellence. We look forward to ensuring the standards of our work remain industry-leading.”
Oman Aviation Group received a certificate approved by UK Accreditation Service certifying that the aviation organisation has qualified for the “provision of services support and strategic direction activities in the aviation sector of the Sultanate of Oman.”

Some of the benefits of ISO 9001:2015, include improvements in efficiency and cost savings, enhanced customer satisfaction, improved evidence-based decision-making, and an ongoing culture of engagement with employees.
