His Majesty Sultan Qaboos receives message from President Mahmoud Abbas

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said received a written message from President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) dealing with the bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of common concern.
The message was received on behalf of His Majesty the Sultan by His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tariq Al Said when he received yesterday Dr. Ahmed Majdalani, Member of the PLO Executive Committee, Envoy of the Palestinian President who conveyed greetings of President Abbas to His Majesty the Sultan, the Government and the Omani people.
The two sides exchanged cordial conversations and reviewed relations between the two sides in various domains, as well as means of promoting them to serve joint interests of the Omani and Palestinian people.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Abbas Ramadhan, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Sultanate.
