Oman military sports and shooting teams honoured on HM's order

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, ordered to honour the armed forces shooting team, national shooting team and military sports teams that represented the Sultanate in several regional and international competitions in 2015.
The teams were honoured in recognition of their excellent showing and achievements in these competitions.
Following His Majesty's order, the Command of the Sultan's Armed Forces (COSAF), represented by the Directorate of Military Sports, organised a ceremony at the SAF Theatre on Monday under the auspices of Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, to honour the athletes.
The ceremony included a visual presentation on the achievements of the shooting team at the local, regional and international competitions.
The chief guest honoured the members of the armed forces shooting team and the national shooting team. He congratulated and thanked them for their sincere efforts and honourable achievements, wishing them further success in the upcoming events.
The ceremony was attended by Commanders of the Sultan Armed Forces, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman (RGO), the Commandant of the National Defence College, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, the Chairman of Oman Football Association, senior officers, commissioned and non-commissioned officers.
