Muscat: Oman Football Association (OFA) has unveiled its new head coach Pim Verbeek to the media on Tuesday.
Verbeek, the former coach of Australian and South Korean national teams was picked after a lengthy round of negotiations at the OFA headquarters. Speaking to the Omani media, the Dutchman said his first priority is to guide Oman to qualify for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup finals.
“My first priority is to guide Oman to the Asian Cup finals and of course the World Cup qualifications. I know this team (Oman) well and I must say they are strong,” Verbeek said.
