Municipal election day should be a paid holiday in Oman: OCCI

Muscat: Private sector companies must grant a paid leave day for employees who take Sunday, December 25 off to cast their votes at the municipal elections, Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) directed.
The OCCI, however, said that a voter should present a certificate proving that he/she has gone to the ballots.
