Royal Hospital Oman receives new medical devices

Muscat: The Royal Hospital recently received a number of medical devices for the Rehabilitation Department by a donation from Towell Group in the presence of Dr. Qasim bin Ahmed Al-Salmi, Director General of Royal Hospital and Bahja bint Ahmed Sultan, Towell Group representative, the Ministry of Health said.

A statement issued by the Ministry said: “The initiative included the provision of TheraSuit devices for children with neurological and mental disabilities and autism."

Al-Qasmi praised this initiative, which reflected the cooperation between the government and public sectors in order to promote community development under the wise leadership of His Majesty the Sultan.”

Bahja bint Ahmed Sultan, Towell Group representative, pointed out, “This initiative came to coincide with 49th National Day celebrations to reaffirm the importance of joint work between the two sectors in driving development in various fields, particularly the healthcare field.”
