Salalah: Al Baleed Salalah ‘Anantara’ Resort will open today in the Governorate of Dhofar under the auspices of Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Rowas, Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for Cultural Affairs to coincide with the country’s celebrations of the 46th Glorious National Day.
The resort which is run by Anantara company is located near the Frankincense Land Museum and Al Baleed Archaeological Park which is included on the world heritage list by UNESCO.
The resort overlooks the sea from the south at easy-to-reach location to the main road network in Salalah.
The resort, which is the first Luxury Villas Resort in Salalah contain 96 two/three room villas, 88 of them have private swimming pools, in addition to 40- hotel rooms, including 30 rooms overlooking the sea.
The resort also has multiple halls for all occasions, in addition to a number of facilities for sports and recreation, health, retail outlets, along with three international restaurants, and accommodation for entertainment events.
