More rains forecast in many parts of Oman

Muscat: Active thunder cells (the second wave), are now beginning over the Al Hajar Mountains, South and North Al Batinah and Muscat Governorates.

An official at PACA said: “ The rains will start to fall during the next two hours in the North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah and Muscat between heavy and moderate with hail, thundershower, high waves and strong winds, then gradually it will spread to North and South Al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhliyah, and Al Dhaherah.”

“The rainfall will continue tomorrow morning in parts of the Al Wusta and Dhofar Governorates and then the Air Depression, Al Mukramat, will fade gradually,” he added.
